Support a Misfit Artist: Once and Future Band

Help us support Misfit Artists who have been hit especially hard as tours and shows are being cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Today we celebrate the psychedelic pop, jazz-rock, fusion and progressive rock music of Once & Future Band!

Once & Future Band was formed in the San Francisco Bay Area and includes Joel Robinow (keyboards, lead vocals), Raj Ojha (drums, recording engineer), and Eli Eckert (bass, vocals). Today they released a video from their upcoming album, Deleted Scenes (April 10). The tune is called “Andromeda.”

“Andromeda is kind of a time traveling song,” Joel tells Getintothis, “I first started writing it in 2004… struck by the line ‘will I wait this lonely lifetime’ from “I Will” by The Beatles, and felt like that seemed tragic, so I thought of a character who was willing but a little more begrudging, like, ‘Ok, I’ll wait if I have to.’”
