We hold space for Psychedelic Buddhism. We promote a non-sectarian and non-traditional approach to Buddhism that values the spiritual efficacy of psychedelics on the Path, not to mention great music and art!
Psychedelic Sangha was cofounded in 2018 as a spiritual refuge for Buddhistic Psychonauts and Psychedelic Buddhists. We are a practitioner-based sangha oriented around an idea—not a guru.
Our definition of “psychedelic” is an altered state of consciousness that shows the contents of the mind—regardless of whether it is drug-induced, meditation-induced, or life-induced!
Whether it is a “dose-friendly” BARDO BATH or a sober INTEGRATION CIRCLE— no drugs are taken on the premises, and we don’t supply any. “Dose-friendly” means it is a safe space with dedicated risk reduction facilitators.

“The challenge is to imagine and then create a communal structure that works, not in theory, but in practice. We must be ready to learn from whatever historical alternative models already exist: from the noncelibate yogic tradition of the Tibetan Nyingma school to the Japanese system of hereditary priests, and to proceed free from attachment to the outcome. We also need to learn from history’s mistakes and work to create a sangha that is no longer ridden with the sectarianism, dogmatism, authoritarianism, and sexism endemic to many Asian traditions.”
