Dear Misfit Seekers,
Our hearts go out to our west coast brothers and sisters, and all sentient beings, who have been affected by the ravaging fires in Los Angeles. As you may know, we were slated to perform our Dharma Art production of Chöd tomorrow at Manly P. Hall's Philosophical Research Society in LA. Luckily this historic alchemical temple was sparred from the flames! And though we seriously considered embracing the fear and holding space for the Chöd as planned, in the end we decided it would be better for everyone to try and reschedule. And as it happens, karma has delivered us a very auspicious date ... Saturday, April 19th--Bicycle Day! We hope you'll join us then for the Chöd with music by Isaiah Mitchell and artwork by Arik Moonhawk Roper and Yosuh Jones.
Next month we have our inaugural conference, Psychedelic Buddhism 2025! This event is mostly online with three virtual panels on Saturday, February 22 and an in-person Keynote Lecture by Lama Liz Monson PhD on the campus of Eugene Lang College, The New School University on February 21st. We are truly honored to have a such an amazing lineup of scholars and practitioners convening. You can learn more and register at our event page.
One of our conference panelists and friends, Robert Heffernan, will be leading a workshop in the weeks prior to the conference. We encourage you to head on over to Brooklyn Psychedelic Society to register for that.
Tickets for our March 15th Bardo Bath with Chris Dingman at Shulgin Farm will go on sale soon! Be sure to follow us on social media and our mailing list for news.
Lastly, tickets for the in-person portion of the conference on Friday at The New School are currently "sold out," however, we will be releasing more soon. Also, we have postponed our January Vibing Vajrasattva cohort. Stay tuned for updates!
