DARSHAN 3: Frida Kahlo @ The Brooklyn Museum

They thought I was a Surrealist, but I wasn't. I never painted dreams. I painted my own reality. - Frida Kahlo

Psychedelic Sangha invites you to DARSHAN 3 at the Brooklyn Museum on the evening of SATURDAY MAY 4th. We have a VERY limited number of tickets to the exhibition FRIDA KAHLO: APPEARANCES CAN BE DECEIVING.

Darśan means "BEATIFIC VISION" in Sanskrit. It is a "NUMINOUS experience" of art that TRANSCENDS form and touches the SUBLIME. Not a passive beholding, but rather an active engagement in the company of spiritual friends—a SANGHA.

We will convene at a nearby residence for a light tapas style dinner, and a guided meditation. Afterwards we'll make our way to museum.

It's FIRST SATURDAY at the museum! That's means they'll be staying open late with music and dancing in the foyer.

6:00 pm

Convene in Windsor Terrace for tapas-style dinner and discussion.

7:30 pm

Walk to museum, stopping along the way for group meditation in Prospect Park.
